Our Mission
The Working Group for a Delaware County Health Department is comprised of healthcare professionals, patient groups, students and concerned residents of Delaware County. Our objective is to establish a health department to assure the provision of public health related services that promote protect and preserve the health of the residents of Delaware County. The Working Group is nonpartisan. The Working Group began from the concerns expressed by the Delaware County Pharmacists Association over the availability of the Flu vaccine since 2004 and the disturbing lack of public health infrastructure to address the needs of Delaware County residents.
